How buyers should specify solar AC protection before RFQ
AC protection sits between the inverter output, distribution board and downstream loads. Device choice depends on phase type, rated current, breaking capacity, leakage protection and local installation practice.
For procurement, buyers should confirm whether the BOM needs MCB, RCCB, RCBO, AFDD, SPD, AC isolator or a complete inverter AC protection panel.
- Confirm single-phase or three-phase layout and inverter output current.
