Solar water pumping systems
A solar water pumping system uses photovoltaic electricity to move water. A controller or drive matches the solar supply to the pump motor. It can suit irrigation and water supply where the water source, head and seasonal sunshine meet the demand. Cloudy conditions can reduce or interrupt pumping, so storage and backup need to be sized for the site. Batteries are optional: some systems pump during daylight and store water in a tank.

We put together the equipment package for a solar pumping system: pump, modules, mounting, the drive cabinet, DC cabling and protection. It ships FOB China through audited partner factories. We do not drill wells, lay pipework, pour foundations or install on site. That stays with your local contractor.
We size from the well and the water you need, not from a motor rating. Before we quote we check that the pump can actually deliver your flow at your head, the two together, at one point on its curve.

Start from what you have, not from a power rating
Buyers rarely know the kW they need when they start looking. They know the well, the nameplate on an existing pump, or how much water the farm has to move. Any of those is enough to start.
Borehole and submersible pumping
Water from a drilled well, pump submerged below the water level. The numbers that matter are the static and dynamic water level, the depth, and how much water you need per day.

Four steps, in this order.

Establish the duty point
Flow and total dynamic head together, as one point. Static water level, drawdown, discharge height, pipe friction and the pressure needed at the outlet all add into the head.

Pick the pump off its curve, not off the catalogue headline
A catalogue maximum flow and a catalogue maximum head sit at opposite ends of the same curve. Neither one proves the point in between. We send the flow-versus-head curve for the model we are offering with your duty point marked on it.

Size the array against the drive limits
String voltage has to stay inside the drive window on the coldest morning and the hottest afternoon at your site. That is why we ask for the location before quoting.

Build the rest of the package around it
Mounting for the local wind conditions, DC combiner and protection, cable sizes for the run length, earthing materials, and packing that survives the trip.
What you get before you commit. A selection, the pump curve with your duty point on it, and a priced bill of materials, line by line. That is enough to compare offers and set a budget. Certificates and warranty wording are issued with the order confirmation.

Frequently asked questions
Do you supply the pump itself or only the solar equipment?
Both. We supply the pump, its motor cable, the drive cabinet, modules, mounting, DC cabling and protection as one package. If you have already bought the pump, we quote everything around it against its nameplate instead.
What do you need from me before you can quote a solar pumping system?
A way to reply and roughly where the site is, to start. To size anything we need the static water level, the drawdown, the daily water demand, the borehole depth, and what power is already on site. The nameplate from an existing pump is the single most useful thing you can send.
Do you install solar pumping systems?
No. We supply the equipment package FOB China through audited partner factories. Drilling, pipework, civil foundations, installation and commissioning stay with your own local contractor. We do not keep crews in these markets.
Can a solar pump run without batteries?
Yes, and most do. The drive varies motor frequency to follow whatever the array can give, so the pump runs when there is sun and stops when there is not. Water is usually stored in a tank rather than energy in a battery, which is cheaper per day of autonomy.
My site already has grid power. Do I still need a hybrid cabinet?
Not automatically. What matters is what that supply has to do: nothing, switch over automatically, or stand by for manual use. Those are three different bills of materials and three different prices, so tell us which one you want on the enquiry form.
How is a solar pumping system priced?
Per project, against a bill of materials you can read line by line. We ship FOB China, so the quotation covers goods, export packing and documents; freight, duty and local installation are separate and arranged at your end.
