At this current level the MCCB typically functions as a main incomer or bus section breaker requiring high breaking capacity and reliable trip performance.

At 400V AC three-phase, 630A represents approximately 435kW — appropriate for string inverter aggregation panels or medium central inverter output protection. At 690V AC, 630A handles approximately 753kW.

630A output MCCBs are used in centralised inverter configurations where multiple inverter modules share a common AC bus before the main transformer. The H-type frame designation confirms a higher breaking capacity suited to installation near transformer secondary busbars where grid fault currents are elevated.
