C-Steel Ground Mounting System
High-Strength Galvanized C-Profile Structure for Utility Scale Projects.

Engineered for Stability & Cost-Efficiency
Our Carbon Steel Ground Mount system utilizes Hot-Dip Galvanized Q235B steel to provide a robust yet economical solution for large-scale projects. The modular tripod design minimizes on-site assembly time.
Pile-Driving Ready
Direct piling technology eliminates the need for concrete foundations, reducing installation time by 30%.
Single/Double Post
Flexible configuration (Single-Pile or Double-Pile) to adapt to different soil conditions and wind loads.
Self-Healing Coating
Made of ZM275 (Zinc-Magnesium-Aluminum) or Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel, offering self-healing protection on cut edges.
Ground mount sourcing & BOM scenarios
Ground-mount procurement is driven by foundation method, terrain and structural loading. The main specification split is between driven piles, ground screws and concrete foundations; each option changes post length, steel grade, installation equipment and the pull-out test requirement. A quote-ready BOM should also define module orientation, table size, tilt angle, east-west slope tolerance and whether the project needs galvanized steel, Zn-Al-Mg coating or aluminium secondary parts.
For EPC sourcing, the ground-mount BOM normally combines posts, beams, rails, braces, clamps, splices, grounding parts and fasteners. OmniSol maps those parts against the layout and destination standard, then consolidates the structure with PV cables, combiner boxes and DC protection where the project needs one export shipment. Send the module layout, foundation preference, wind/snow load and destination port so the structural and electrical BOS can be reviewed together before quotation.

Ground mount sourcing & BOM scenarios
Ground-mount sourcing is driven by the foundation and the structure together. Before a quote, the key spec differences are the foundation type (rammed pile, ground screw or concrete), the steel grade and coating (Q235B/Q355B with HDG ≥80μm or ZM275), the post configuration (single or double) and the design wind and snow load for the site. The same MWp array can need very different steel tonnage depending on soil and wind zone.
A typical utility BOM combines C-profile beams, purlin connectors, splice kits, base adaptors and gaskets, sized from a row layout and a pull-out test. OmniSol consolidates the structural steel with the project's cable, protection and combiner BOS into one shipment, confirms coating thickness and certificate availability, and provides the test guide for on-site pile depth verification. Send the project size, soil condition, wind/snow load and row layout, and the ground structure returns as a quote-ready BOM.
Ground Mount FAQ
Is C-Steel better than Aluminum for ground mounts?
For large scale projects, C-Steel offers much higher structural strength and lower material cost compared to Aluminum.
Can this system handle sloped terrain?
Yes, the connection design allows for adjustability to handle East-West slopes up to 15 degrees.
Do you provide pull-out test services?
We provide the test guide. Pull-out tests must be conducted on-site to determine the required pile depth.
