How Non-Penetrating Seam Clamps is sourced
OmniSol sources Non-Penetrating Seam Clamps factory-direct as part of the Roof Mounting family, quoted against your project quantity, destination port and the key rating. Pricing and lead time are confirmed by SKU and order size at the RFQ stage, and OmniSol can propose a current-equivalent option if the exact variant is unavailable, so the line stays on schedule.
BOM fit
Non-Penetrating Seam Clamps is part of the structural BOM and is sized from the roof or ground layout and the wind and snow load. It consolidates with rails, clamps, fasteners and the rest of the project BOS into one freight-optimised container.
Certification check
Confirm the material certificate, coating thickness and structural standard (AS/NZS 1170, ASCE 7-22 or Eurocode) for the destination before ordering. OmniSol supplies material and surface-treatment reports at RFQ.
Product Overview
Non-penetrating seam clamps transfer all module and structural loads to the metal roof rib without drilling, cutting, or breaching the roof waterproofing layer — a requirement on most commercial metal roofs where membrane penetrations void the roof warranty. OmniSol holds over 50 seam clamp mold toolings covering round bulb, trapezoidal, standing seam, T-rib, and specialised pan profiles used across Australian, European, and North American metal roofing markets.
Correct clamp selection requires exact identification of the roof profile — a clamp designed for one seam geometry will not correctly engage a different profile, and forcing an incorrect clamp can deform a thin-gauge seam rib. Provide the roof manufacturer name, panel width, and profile designation (or a photograph of the seam cross-section) when enquiring; OmniSol confirms the matching mold and lead time before the order is placed.
Clamp bolt preload is a critical installation parameter: undertorqued bolts creep loose under thermal cycling and dynamic wind load, while overtorqued bolts can deform thin-gauge seams and reduce the clamp bearing area. OmniSol installation guides specify the torque value in N·m for each clamp model and roof gauge combination — use a calibrated torque wrench at installation and do not estimate by feel.
