Product Overview
15kA breaking capacity certified to IEC 60947-2 for industrial applications. This is the highest breaking capacity in the ETM1 MCB series — the same 56-variant current and pole range as ETM1-63 and ETM1-63H provides a clear upgrade path when fault analysis requires higher capacity without changing board layout.
IEC 60947-2 industrial certification is required by some export markets and large industrial projects where IEC 60898 household-rated MCBs are not accepted in main distribution positions. Both standards can coexist in one project.
Ultra-high breaking capacity MCBs are specified for main distribution board positions where upstream grid fault current exceeds standard 6kA or 10kA ratings. Confirm the prospective short-circuit current at the installation point with your distribution network operator before specifying a standard-capacity breaker at a high-fault-level busnbar.
