Product Overview
NH-type (high-rupturing capacity) gPV fuse for 1000V or 1500V DC circuits in the 32A to 100A current range. NH fuses offer significantly higher breaking capacity than cylindrical types of the same current rating, making them appropriate for combiner outputs and main DC bus fusing where prospective fault current is elevated.
NH fuses require NH-rated fuse holders or switch disconnectors — they are not compatible with cylindrical fuse holders. Confirm the holder type and frame size (NH00, NH1, etc.) before ordering.
HRC gPV fuse holders are rated for the high-energy let-through characteristics of photovoltaic fault currents under IEC 60269-6. The H00 body size is the most common format for 10–15A string protection — confirm that the fuse body size matches your selected EKFL series fuse holder socket before ordering fuse links separately.
Applications
PV string and array protection
Combiner box internal protection
Inverter DC input circuits
Utility and C&I solar BOS
Frequently Asked Questions
When is an NH fuse preferred over cylindrical 10×38mm or 14×85mm?
NH fuses provide higher breaking capacity and are easier to replace in high-current positions without de-energizing adjacent circuits. They are preferred for combiner outputs, main DC busbars, and applications where prospective fault current exceeds cylindrical fuse breaking capacity.
What NH frame size is required?
NH fuse frame size (NH000, NH00, NH1, NH2) depends on the current rating and the existing fuse base or switch. Confirm the frame size from the combiner box or fuse switch documentation at RFQ.
