Product Overview
1500V DC gPV cylindrical fuse links in 10×38mm format rated 8A to 35A. Fast-acting (gPV) class and -40°C to +80°C operating range suit outdoor combiner box environments in all climates. These are the required replacement fuse links for EKF1-15PV and compatible 1500V fuse holders.
Stock 1500V fuse links separately from 1000V stock to prevent field mix-ups — a 1000V fuse link installed in a 1500V position is a fault waiting to happen. Label storage by voltage class.
DIN-rail mounted fuse holders integrate into combiner box DIN rails without additional mounting hardware. The L-suffix indicates a lateral grouping configuration — align the holder orientation with your combiner box terminal block layout to minimise internal wiring length and simplify the combiner assembly.

What does gPV fast-acting mean?
gPV is the IEC fuse class for general-purpose PV DC fuses. Fast-acting means the fuse clears short-circuit faults within milliseconds, limiting the fault current energy that reaches the module wiring and other strings. Slow-blow fuses are not suitable for PV string protection.
Can EKFL15D10L replace EKFL10D10 in the same holder?
Only if the holder is rated for 1500V DC. If the holder carries a 1000V rating, installing 1500V fuse links does not upgrade the system — the holder’s 1000V voltage rating remains the limiting factor. Match the fuse link voltage to the holder voltage rating.
