Product Overview
1500V DC fuse switch disconnector rated at 35A for 10×38mm fuse links, designed for string protection in 1500V PV architectures where 1000V-rated holders are not acceptable. DIN rail mounting fits standard combiner box rails used in 1500V system designs.
The 1500V rating is critical — a 1000V fuse link installed in a 1500V circuit does not have the arc extinction capability to safely clear a fault. Always pair EKF1-15PV with EKFL15D10L 1500V-rated fuse links.
15A string fuses cover high-efficiency bifacial modules where rear-face irradiance can push effective Isc above the 10A threshold in high-albedo environments. When sizing fuses for bifacial configurations, add the bifacial gain factor to the rated Isc before applying the 1.25 multiplier — undersized fuses may nuisance-trip during peak rear-face irradiance.

Can I use 1000V fuse links in EKF1-15PV?
No. A 1000V gPV fuse link cannot safely interrupt a 1500V DC fault. The arc will not extinguish and the fuse will fail destructively. Always use 1500V-rated EKFL15D10L fuse links in EKF1-15PV holders.
What current rating should I select for the fuse link?
Select a fuse link current rating no higher than 1.25× the string Isc. For a string with 12A Isc, the maximum fuse link rating is 15A. Order EKFL15D10L 1500V fuse links in the correct current rating alongside the holder.
