Product Overview
Modular multi-string 1500V DC disconnector groups multiple individual string disconnects in a single IP66 enclosure for rooftop installations where string-level disconnection is needed without running cables back to a separate combiner. Each string position is isolated independently.
The 1500V rating covers both 1000V and 1500V string architectures. Confirm the number of string positions required and the cable gland size against the string cable cross-section before ordering.
The EKDS7 carries a bi-directional DC interruption rating suitable for energy storage systems where current direction can reverse during charge cycles. Standard PV string isolators are rated for unipolar interruption only — verify that your application requires bi-directional capability before substituting a standard isolator.
