Procurement & BOM Notes

How NSPV Solar DC Isolator Switch 8P is sourced

OmniSol sources NSPV Solar DC Isolator Switch 8P factory-direct as part of the DC Isolator Switch family, quoted against your project quantity, destination port and voltage ratings (1000V DC (Type 1), 1200V DC (Type 2), 1500V DC (Type 3)). Pricing and lead time are confirmed by SKU and order size at the RFQ stage, and OmniSol can propose a current-equivalent option if the exact variant is unavailable, so the line stays on schedule.

BOM fit

NSPV Solar DC Isolator Switch 8P sits between the array and the inverter, so it is specified with the string count, system voltage and protection layout of the project. It ships consolidated with cable, connectors and the rest of the electrical BOS, under one QC report and one document set.

Certification check

Confirm the device standard, breaking capacity and any market-specific listing (IEC or UL) before ordering. OmniSol supplies the datasheet, component brand list and inspection photos.

Product Overview

The NSPV NSI01-32 DC Isolator Switch provides on-load string isolation for PV systems and is built to IEC 60947-3. The series spans three classes — 1000V DC/32A, 1200V DC/26A and 1500V DC/20A — in 2P, 4P, 6P and 8P pole configurations, with an IP20 base suited to enclosure or combiner mounting and 2.5–16mm² (14–8AWG) terminals.

Select the switch by system voltage, string current and pole count (series strings require enough poles to break both polarities). When sourcing, give us your DC voltage, per-string current and required poles at RFQ so we confirm the right NSI01-32 class; the isolator consolidates with combiner boxes, fuses and SPDs in one OmniSol DC-protection shipment.

Applications

String isolation

Inverter DC disconnect

Maintenance isolation

Rooftop DC safety switching

Frequently Asked Questions

What voltage and current classes are available?

Three: 1000V DC/32A, 1200V DC/26A and 1500V DC/20A. Match the class to your highest string voltage and per-string current.

Which pole configurations does it come in?

2P, 4P, 6P and 8P. Higher pole counts allow breaking multiple/series strings or both polarities — tell us your string layout at RFQ.

Which standard does it meet?

It is built to IEC 60947-3 for switch-disconnectors, with IEC documentation supplied at RFQ.

Can it be switched under load?

Yes — it is an on-load DC isolator designed to make and break string current safely for maintenance and emergency isolation, within its rated class.
