Product Overview
Sixteen-string 1000V DC combiner for larger commercial and small utility-scale PV projects where 16 strings feed one inverter MPPT input. At 12A Isc per string, the combined output reaches approximately 192A — confirm the output cable size and downstream protection rating against this current.
16-string combiners are common at the boundary between commercial and utility scale, where individual inverter MPPT inputs accept 16 strings before parallel combiner outputs are aggregated at a higher-level DC switchboard.
Sixteen-string 1000V combiners are used in 200–350kW central inverter sub-array zones. At this string count, verify that output cable cross-section and circuit breaker rating match the aggregate Isc of all 16 strings with the margin required by local wiring standards — larger cross-section cable should be specified early to avoid field re-wiring.
