Product Overview
1500V DC version of the 12-string combiner for projects where string voltage exceeds 1000V. All internal fuse links, switching devices, and bus components must be rated for 1500V — replacing a 1000V combiner with a 1500V rated unit in a 1500V circuit is necessary for safety compliance.
At 1500V system voltage, string Voc can approach the full 1500V limit. Every component in the combiner box — fuse holders, fuse links, isolator, SPD, and busbar insulation — must carry 1500V DC rating.
The 1500V 12-string version extends combiner capability to 1500V DC system architectures. Verify that all internal components — bus bars, fuse holders, and monitoring connections — carry 1500V insulation ratings; do not substitute 1000V-rated internal components in a 1500V enclosure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a 1000V combiner box in a 1500V system if the string voltage is typically below 1000V?
No. Rating must be based on the maximum possible open-circuit voltage under coldest expected conditions, not the typical operating voltage. Module Voc at minimum temperature in a 12-string system may approach or exceed 1000V even if typical operating voltage is lower.
Are the fuse links inside 1500V-rated?
Yes — all internal gPV fuse links in a 1500V combiner must carry 1500V DC rating. Confirm that replacement fuse links are also 1500V rated (EKFL15D10L or equivalent) before servicing the combiner.
