Product Overview
Single-string 1000V DC combiner provides a weatherproof junction, disconnect, and labeling point for one PV string without the complexity of a multi-string combiner. Useful as a roof-to-ground cable transition point, an isolated string re-routing junction, or a string-level shutdown point in residential and small commercial systems.
Despite combining only one string, the IP-rated enclosure, internal fuse protection, and isolating switch provide the safe disconnection and fault protection that bare junction boxes do not.
The 1000V single-string version provides junction and fuse protection for 1000V DC system architectures used in most current-generation string inverters. String fuse rating must be at least 1.25 times string Isc — specify the fuse current rating alongside the combiner box when sending an RFQ.
