Molded case circuit breaker for DC applications in PV and battery systems where higher current and breaking capacity than a miniature breaker is required. MCCB format suits panel-mount installations in inverter combiner inputs, main DC switchboards, and battery main disconnection.

DC MCCBs have different arc extinction requirements than AC MCCBs of the same current rating. Confirm both the rated DC voltage and the DC breaking capacity — AC breaking capacity figures do not apply to DC circuits.

EKM6DC series uses a compact DIN-rail profile that allows high-density protection within shallow enclosures. Specify the correct pole count for your system voltage — 2-pole devices cover up to 600V DC, while 4-pole configurations provide 1000V DC string protection in combiner boxes.
