Product Overview
High-current DC MCB covering 80A, 100A, and 125A in a DIN rail format. Voltage rating scales with pole count — 250V DC per pole gives 500V on 2-pole and 1000V on 4-pole. This compact format fits inside combiner boxes and DC distribution panels where an MCCB footprint is too large.
Always verify the rated DC voltage at the actual pole count being used — not just the nameplate. A 4-pole unit at 1000V DC in a 500V circuit is oversized but safe; a 2-pole unit in a 1000V circuit is undersized and unsafe.
The 125A frame covers combiner-box-to-inverter DC trunk circuits where aggregate string current exceeds the range of individual string fuses. Confirm the MCB rated breaking capacity against the prospective short-circuit current at the combiner output — a higher-capacity fuse upstream is required if the available fault current exceeds the MCB interrupting rating.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is DC voltage rating calculated for this multi-pole MCB?
EKM1-125DC is rated 250V DC per pole: 1-pole = 250V DC, 2-pole = 500V DC, 4-pole = 1000V DC. Select the pole count that gives the correct voltage rating for your circuit — using fewer poles in a higher voltage circuit is a safety violation.
What is the breaking capacity?
Breaking capacity at rated voltage is specified in the datasheet. Share the expected short-circuit current at the installation point and we verify whether the breaking capacity is adequate before quoting.
