Product Overview

Marine-grade PV cable with oil resistance, UV stabilization, and salt spray tolerance for offshore, coastal, and floating solar installations where standard PV cable sheathing degrades prematurely. Eight size options from 1.5mm² to 35mm² cover all typical floating PV wiring requirements.

Projects on freshwater reservoirs, coastal rooftops, and offshore platforms experience elevated humidity, salt-laden air, and occasional contact with water. PV1500-SR is formulated to maintain insulation integrity under these conditions for the full system design life.

1500V DC system architecture requires every series-connected BOS component to share the same voltage rating — cables, connectors, isolators, fuses, combiner boxes, and inverter input terminals must all be rated 1500V. PV1500-SR uses a sheathing compound with enhanced oil resistance and salt spray tolerance. In offshore and floating solar environments where cable is exposed to seawater splash and marine atmosphere, this reduces insulation degradation and extends service life compared to standard solar cable.
