Product Overview
Flexible copper conductor grounding cable rated at 450/750V for PV frame earthing, equipment bonding, and grounding bus connections. Seven size options from 4mm² to 50mm² cover small residential earth conductors through main earthing conductor runs in commercial plants.
BVR is widely used in Chinese domestic installations and accepted for grounding runs in international projects where the voltage rating is appropriate. For export projects we confirm whether BVR wording or an IEC 60227 equivalent is required by the local earthing standard.
BVR is a general-purpose flexible copper wire suitable for panel wiring, transformer connections, and low-voltage AC circuits inside enclosures. Not UV-rated for outdoor direct exposure; use in conduit or enclosed panels only — solar-rated H1Z2Z2-K or PV1-F cable is required for outdoor DC string wiring.

How do I select the correct grounding cable cross-section?
Grounding conductor size is determined by the fault current path, the upstream overcurrent protection rating, and local electrical code. The general rule is that a protective conductor must be at least 16mm² copper for buried earth leads and sized per IEC 60364-5-54 or the local equivalent.
Is BVR suitable for outdoor grounding runs?
Standard BVR has PVC insulation rated for indoor use. For outdoor or buried grounding runs, confirm whether the installation requires a UV-stabilized or direct-burial rated insulation — we recommend confirming the specification before ordering.
