Procurement & BOM Notes
How Balcony Solar Hook Kit is sourced
OmniSol sources Balcony Solar Hook Kit factory-direct as part of the Balcony Solar family, quoted against your project quantity, destination port and application (Balcony Railing / Wall / Garden). Pricing and lead time are confirmed by SKU and order size at the RFQ stage, and OmniSol can propose a current-equivalent option if the exact variant is unavailable, so the line stays on schedule.
BOM fit
Balcony Solar Hook Kit is part of the structural BOM and is sized from the roof or ground layout and the wind and snow load. It consolidates with rails, clamps, fasteners and the rest of the project BOS into one freight-optimised container.
Certification check
Confirm the material certificate, coating thickness and structural standard (AS/NZS 1170, ASCE 7-22 or Eurocode) for the destination before ordering. OmniSol supplies material and surface-treatment reports at RFQ.
Product Overview
The Balcony Solar Hook Kit enables apartment residents and small building owners to mount a solar panel on a balcony railing without drilling, cutting, or any permanent modification to the building fabric. The stainless steel hook design accommodates round, square, and flat railing cross-sections without adapters, and the adjustable mounting bracket sets panel tilt between 0° flush and 30° for latitude-optimised energy generation.
The complete retail box includes hooks, safety straps, and mounting rail segments — all hardware required for a standard two-panel balcony installation. The secondary safety strap prevents panel displacement during wind events up to 30 m/s, meeting the minimum wind resistance requirement for European and Australian plug-in balcony solar applications. All mounting hardware is made from SUS304 stainless steel for outdoor durability.
Confirm local regulatory requirements before installation. In Germany, plug-in balcony solar systems (Steckersolargerät) up to 800W are permitted without a licensed electrician under 2024 regulations. In Australia and the UK, connection to building wiring requires a licensed electrician regardless of system size. OmniSol supplies CE certification documentation for European market compliance and can provide a product compliance summary for other markets on request.
