5kVA Home & SME Kit

Full-home hybrid solar system capable of running air-conditioning, refrigeration and office loads. 4kWp array with 9.6kWh LiFePO4 storage covers most daytime loads directly from solar and provides overnight backup for essential circuits.

Widely used by small clinics, pharmacies and commercial premises in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. Also the primary kit for Pakistan load-shedding — 9.6kWh covers 8–10 hours of evening backup during typical 12–16h outage cycles. The dual-MPPT inverter supports split arrays — useful for sites with two roof orientations.

Can the 5kVA solar kit run a 1.5HP (1,100W) air conditioner?

Yes, with conditions. A 1.5HP inverter-type air conditioner (INVERAC) draws approximately 600–900W in steady state and requires up to 1,800W at startup. The 5kVA inverter handles this start surge. During daytime with full solar input (up to 4kWp), the AC runs primarily from panels. At night it draws from the 9.6kWh battery — 6 hours of AC consumes approximately 5.4–6kWh, which is within battery capacity with modest additional loads.

What certifications does the 5kVA kit carry?

The hybrid inverter carries CE marking (EMC + LVD) and IEC 62109-1/2. The LiFePO4 battery is UN38.3 certified with CE. PV modules are IEC 61215 / IEC 61730. SONCAP (Nigeria) and NRCS (South Africa) eligibility is confirmed per inverter SKU at RFQ stage — please flag your destination country.

Is the 5kVA inverter available in 3-phase output?

The standard 5kVA kit uses a single-phase (220/230V) hybrid inverter. A 3-phase version is not available at this capacity — 3-phase output starts at the 10kVA kit. For North America (120/240V split-phase), a compatible variant can be sourced — please confirm your grid standard in the RFQ.
